Professional Head Shots
Leave it to the pros.

A well taken head shot can be the difference between a good first-impression and a bad one. Stand out from the crowd; let a skilled and reputable professional get you to look your very best.

What do I wear?

  • Wear clean, comfortable clothing. Now is not the time to experiment. Go with what makes you look most professional.
  • Try to keep the clothing as simple as possible. Solid colors are preferable.
  • Do not experiment with new hairstyles. That means no hair highlights or extravagant haircuts before the shoot.
  • Don’t use any new product on your face or body, just in case you develop a rash or other terrible reaction.
  • Limit your exposure to the sun the week prior to the shoot, for we cannot do anything to hide tans and sunburns.

.

What do I bring?

  • An extra outfit, just in case what you are currently wearing doesn’t get the best out of you.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Hair brush (if necessary).

Examples of what you can wear

      • Try your outfit on when you’re at home; just so you can make sure you will look sharp for the shoot.
      • Avoid busy patterns on your clothing, as well as big prints.
      • Avoid light colored blouses; the darker the clothing, the more professional you will look. So stick to dark colors!
      • Wear darker makeup than you usually would. Sparkly makeup can produce too much of a shine.
      • A professional look could be a suit jacket, dress shirt, and a tie.

    Accessories

      • keep your accessories simple.
      • Bring several accessories with you, just in case you are unsure. It’s better to have options when you are in doubt.
